Consultation Events

Introduction

Welcome to the events registration site for Equality for disabled people: how will we know we are making progress?

Edinburgh 27 March

London 30 March

Manchester 4 April

The Office for Disability Issues has launched a consultation to hear what disabled people and those affected by disability think equality for disabled people should look like in 2025 and what they think are the most important areas of their lives that we should focus on when measuring progress. The consultation paper is available to download in a range of formats from our website: officefordisability.gov.uk/consultations

We want to hear from as many people as possible, of all ages and backgrounds, and hope that you can take some time to let us know what you think before the consultation closes on 9 May. We are also holding these consultation events to enable discussion of the consultation questions.

The events are open to anyone with an interest in helping us to make progress towards the government’s goal of equlity for disabled people by 2025. They are mainly intended for disabled people and members of disability organisations, but other interested stakeholders may also like to attend.
